What is a children’s sermon Bible object lesson for kids?

The children’s sermon is a brief biblical message for kids during the adult church worship service. It typically features an object lesson talk to illustrate a Bible theme or passage and help kids focus on the love of Jesus Christ. In many churches, the children’s sermon is presented at the front of the sanctuary before the kids are dismissed to age-specific kids’ church programs. AKA the children’s message or kids’ ministry moment. A children’s sermon lesson teaches a Bible story or spiritual concept in a way that’s fun, interactive, and memorable for kids.

  1. I came to this site early last week. I tried returning to it and now all of the lessons say they cant be found. Does anyone know why this is?

  2. Hi Ashley – we had some major tech problems this morning. Every thing should be back now (you may need to hit Ctrl+F5 to do a hard refresh).

Please pray for us, the forces of darkness love to attack Christian websites on Sunday morning. 🙏

  6. Hey everyone, Dap here from Meghalaya N.E India. I have recently been asked by my Church to speak for the next months first Sunday for the Children Sermon Service. I have never really spoken in such a setting and I don’t feel worthy enough either but I feel this is God’s way of reaching out to me since I have started to be so distant. I always have this idea that kids usually really grasp on tightly to anything you say so I really want this opportunity to be able to give the kids of this day an age a lesson that this generation can really relate to, but I’m not aware as to what I should speak about. I would really like your opinions as this is where I was led to when I was saying “Lord what do you want me to do or speak about?” I really feel God led me here. God Bless you all
