KJV Curriculum that's FUN and Baptist: What do you suggest?

Print Friendly and PDF

I just got this great question from a reader and thought someone else might be able to help:

I can’t tell you how many countless hours I’ve spent searching for new Sunday School, Children’s Church and midweek curriculum for our church and it’s like finding a needle in a haystack when trying to find a curriculum that’s FUN, KJV and has a similar statement of faith to the Baptist church.

I’ve posted some links to KJV Vacation Bible School Curriculum, but I don’t know where to start when it comes to midweek and Sunday school curriculum. Translation is not an issue in my church, but we do look into the publishers statement of faith.

Any KJV curriculum suggestions?

Just leave a comment below, and thanks in advance for your help.

  1. I have been looking for a bible study on the Armor Of God to share with the young boys in our church. We have God’s Little Princess for the girls, but the boys felt left out. I was so glad to come across this site. Thanks for making the material available for us to use. I am looking forward to studying and starting this study with the children.

  2. I teach Sunday School at an Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church (KJV). It’s almost impossible to find online sources that are strictly KJV, but there are a plethora of resources using other translations. I use the Ministry-to-Children website almost every week. There are some truly amazing resources out there. It takes some effort, but you can always adjust the verses to KJV. The core message is the same. If you just change the actual scripture parts, everything else can stay the same.
I’m incredibly grateful for this resource. Using these resources and simply changing the scriptures to KJV has saved me hundreds of hours over the years. Thank you for your efforts, and God Bless.

  3. Thanks so much Sarah – we’ve been talking about creating new lessons that use the KJV also. I appreciate your encouragement and feedback.

  4. I would really love seeing KJV resources on this site. Ministry to Children is such an excellent website. Thank you for all of your free material!

  5. Regular Baptist Press – Strong curriculum has KJV. Honestly it has been more interesting in the past. The current one is more scientific and technical less creative than previously, still a decent curriculum.
Grow publications is KJV they have devotional quarterlies and a children’s church companion curriculum that is fun and engaging. You can download a sample quarter for FREE on their website.
Bogard press kjv curriculum is called SPLAT. User friendly lesson plans very accessible for New teachers.
Child Evangelism Fellowship of Ireland KJV options come with (nearly) all their downloadable curriculum.

  6. Sunday school curriculum from North Valley Publications is written from an independent, Baptist perspective using only the King James version.

Striving Together Publications (ministry of Lancaster Baptist Church) has published a KJV children’s ministry curriculum.

Joyful Life Sunday School (ministry of Pensacola Christian College)
    Curriculum is also KJV.
