Faith Craft Activities for Sunday School

These two ideas use the metaphor of plants to describe faith. As a small seed blooms into flowering faith, we will demonstrate plant-related crafts that show faith principles. The leaf collage is a fun fall incorporation with room for fun and creativity, as well as another plant incorporation theme. Be sure to watch the video directions for these Sunday School crafts. These are simple enough for preschool children but will also hold the interest of older elementary students if you allow for some extra creative supplies.

Bible Verses or scripture captions for the crafts

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. –Hebrews 11:1-3

And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. –Luke 17:6
