Celebrating the Bible…the Word of GOD! Craft Ideas for Sunday School

It is wonderful to be able to share with young students how important the Bible is, and to communicate what it means that we have the inspired word of God at our fingertips! This is a truth that should be frequently reiterated, of course. In light of specifically describing the Bible and its authenticity as God’s true Word, these crafts celebrate reading and knowing scripture. Bookmarks are always a fun and creativity-allowing standby, particularly when looking at the Bible. The “scroll” craft is a helpful visual when describing how the ancient texts of the Bible might have looked. It’s a simple but fun way of contemplating first century writing.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 Craft Ideas

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
-2 Timothy 3:16-17

Hebrews 4:12 Craft Ideas

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
-Hebrews 4:12
